With our Head Office in Junjungan Village, Ubud, we are dedicated to creating lasting impact through initiatives to empower, educate and nurture, including our community support efforts and dog rescue initiatives, guided always by the belief that real change begins with care, connection and community.

We partner with local rescue organisations to provide love, care and a second chance to abandoned and abused dogs in Bali, thanks to the incredible community support we receive.
Meet Ella, our second rescue and now a beloved member of our team. For the first five years of her life, Ella was confined to a cage and used solely for breeding. When she could no longer produce puppies, she was discarded on the streets. Weak, suffering from a severe blood infection and nearly bald, Ella was in desperate need of help. With gentle care and patience, our team at Maju helped her heal, body and soul. Today, she’s a vibrant, happy companion who brings joy to our office every day. She adores riding in cars and on scooters, especially when she's visiting clients around the island, including those in Bali.
Our dream is to build a safe, healing sanctuary between Ubud and Kintamani to be a peaceful haven where dogs like Ella can recover, thrive and rediscover what it means to be loved. We're committed to transforming their lives and nurturing their spirits, one dog rescue at a time.

At the Maju Foundation, our mission extends beyond just animal welfare; we are committed to community support and uplifting our local community in Ubud, with a special focus on the beautiful Junjungan Village.
We believe in the power of hospitality and caring and we aim to bring that spirit directly into the heart of the village. Through locally driven projects, we’re working to improve daily life, support small businesses and provide training and assistance to help local people thrive.
